Sports Medicine Physician

Ochsner Sports Medicine Institute (OSMI) is recruiting a Fellowship Trained Primary Care Sports Medicine Physician with a residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) to join a growing team in the Baton Rouge, LA region. This will be a 100% sports medicine position in the Department of Orthopedics & Sports Medicine and will include coverage at local area high schools and local D-1 university. EMG experience is requested and ability to perform studies at least once a week. Diagnostic and interventional ultrasound, orthobiologics, concussion management, and fracture care are available as desired. Will have the ability to direct your own practice growth and integrate into a multi-disciplinary team that includes orthopedic surgeons, primary care sports medicine physicians, advanced practice providers, physical therapists, athletic trainers, and strength and conditioning coaches. Opportunity to work with residency-trained athletic trainers in clinic, and optional teaching and research opportunities available. Ochsner sports medicine provides care for over 7 universities and 67 schools and middle schools in Louisiana.
