OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS

Saint Alphonsus Medical Center – Nampa and Saint Alphonsus Medical Group, a physician led 500+ multispecialty provider group, have an excellent full-time employment opportunity for an Orthopedic Surgery physician, fellowship trained in Hand & Wrist, to join a robust and growing practice located in Nampa, Idaho.

This practice consists of non-operative Sports Medicine, Foot & Ankle Surgery, Podiatry, Orthopedic Spine, and Adult Reconstruction.  The practice is supported by an excellent team of Advanced Practice Providers. 

Hospital support includes 24/7 CRNA Anesthesia; general surgery, Hospital-based imaging services: 24/7 radiology department; in-house coverage for general radiology and CT; after hours call coverage for Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine (NM); MRI;  X-ray (CR and DR image capture); ED; Saint Alphonsus network of Specialty and Primary Care clinics.

The full-time schedule for this opportunity is a traditional work week Monday through Friday, with no less than 32 hours of scheduled patient contact time, plus procedures, rounding, and consults.  Call is shared with other eligible members in the SAMG Department of Orthopedics and consists of general Ortho and ED call.  Candidate must have willingness to take general orthopedic call.

Requirements for this opportunity include an individual with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or a Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree; successful completion of accredited ACGME/AOA  Orthopedic Surgery residency with completion of a Hand & Wrist fellowship preferred; ability to obtain an unrestricted full license in Idaho to practice medicine in all its phases; valid controlled substance registration with the Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA; Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery through the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery  (ABOS) (or obtain such certification within three years of employment/contract start) .
