Non-Surgical Sports Medicine Physician
Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a BE/BC internal medicine or family practice physician with fellowship training in sports medicine to join the Division of Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. The selected candidate will manage all aspects of nonsurgical musculoskeletal care. The candidate will treat a wide variety of patients, from collegiate athletes (the group covers several local universities), to adult weekend warriors, and to patients with other degenerative/arthritic conditions. Proficiency with image-guided injections, including PRP, is required. The candidate will be based out of the new Miramar expansion of the practice, which is a vibrant, rapidly growing area with many new developments, young professionals, and young families in the community. The candidate will be paired with an orthopedic sports medicine surgeon in the same office to work collaboratively.
This is a full-time employed position with the Division of Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine, part of the multispecialty Memorial Physician Group. The position offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.
